honey cupcake


110g eggs (about 2 big eggs)
130g castor sugar
1 tbsp honey
150g plain flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
50g water
20g vegetable oil
150g red bean paste(optional)

  1. whisk eggs and sugar until mixture is creamy
  2. add in honey and mix well
  3. separately, sift flour and baking powder
  4. add the sifted ingredients and water into the mixture slowly
  5. add in oil and mix well
  6. grease individual cupcake moulds with oil and pour the cake batter
  7. if you are adding red bean paste, add in one piece into each mould (as desired)
  8. pour moulds till 3/4 full
  9. bake at 200 degrees for 10-15 minutes until golden brown
