taiyaki
ingredients
150g cake flour
â tsp baking powder
1 egg
180ml milk (fresh)
40g caster sugar
ingredients
sift flour and baking powder into a large mixing bowl
add caster sugar into the mix
add in the milk and egg, mix well using a hand whisk
transfer batter to a pouring cup â this is your taiyaki batter
heat up the taiyaki pan, grease pan with some oil so that the batter does not stick
heat over small fire â pour batter till half filled (it will expand), add in desired fillings (optional)
flip the pan to stick the two halves together
check for doneness â done once it is golden brown
